SunTrust offers a private student loan, the Custom Choice Loan®, to undergraduate and graduate students when federal loans, scholarships, and grants aren't enough to cover the full cost of education. If savings and federal loans, scholarships and grants don’t cover college costs, SunTrust offers a private student loan, the Custom Choice Loan. This loan is available to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at least half-time at an eligible school. With money-saving benefits, competitive rates and flexible repayment options, a Custom Choice Loan may be the right solution for rounding out your financing needs.1

If the bank account is a SunTrust checking, savings or money market account, the discount is 0.50%.2
If the bank account is a non-SunTrust account, the discount is 0.25%.2
SunTrust recommends you exhaust all financial aid alternatives including grants, scholarships, and federal loans prior to applying for private student loans.

ACH discount(s) only apply when full payments (including both principal and interest) are automatically drafted from a bank account. Discount(s) will remain on the account unless (1) the automatic deduction of payments is stopped (including times during deferment or forbearance) or (2) there are three automatic deductions returned for insufficient funds over the life of the loan .
