Wells Fargo offers a variety of private student loans at competitive rates. When it comes to financing your education, be sure to look at all of your options - including grants, scholarships and loans from all sources - and make careful comparisons among all your choices. If you determine a private student loan for graduate school is right for you, Wells Fargo offers loans to fit the needs of nearly every student. Most students will need to apply with a cosigner in order to meet our credit history, income, and employment requirements.
A Wells Fargo Graduate loan is a private student loan for graduate students in non-health related professions.

If you've received all the federal loans you're eligible for and still don't have enough, you can use a Wells Fargo Graduate Student Loan1 to borrow up to the entire cost of your education.2
Benefit
No payments are due until six months after you leave school.

In addition, if you're ever having trouble making payments, we offer ways to lower or postpone your student loan payments.
Automatic payment discount — Lower your interest rate by 0.25% when you set up an automatic payment from a personal checking or savings account.
Wells Fargo Student Graduation BenefitSM — Lower your interest rate by 0.25% after we verify that you’ve graduated.
Relationship discount — Lower your interest rate by up to 0.50% if you’re a Wells Fargo customer.
Loan Amount
There's no annual maximum — you can borrow up to the cost of education (tuition, rent, books, etc.) minus other financial aid.2 The aggregate loan limit is $180,000 for law and business; $120,000 for other fields of study, including all other educational

Eligibility
You must be a graduate student and:

Be enrolled and earning a degree at an eligible school.
Be making satisfactory academic progress in an eligible program.
Have an established, positive credit history.
Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. nation
Conditions
Your financial aid officer will certify the loan amount you are eligible for.

Typically, we send the money directly to your school (and your school will distribute any extra funds to you). If you have questions on how your school handles disbursements, please check with your Financial Aid Office.

You can use any money left over after paying for tuition for your other education-related expenses, such as room and board or books.
